The arrival of the King and Queen of the day without the Anak Dara Bunga....

The day after we went to Suhirman's wedding reception which I loved cause of it's simplicity and warm. I saw Azhar while finding an empty seats and boy does he looked good...I mean he look better than the time I saw him at some place....Can't remember where... I guessed guys looked better after marriage....erm....except Suhaimi.....but that's another story....

Suhirman's brother in-law was friendly and a little too pushy as what Zaid suggested. The sister are friendly too... I'm already feeling awkward cause as usual I'm the only one stands out from the crowd...in not a good way- I feel - as Rizal said, people look at you not in awe but something else...hee....

I loved the DJ or the Karaoke singers cause they played up lifting and happy songs that add to the already cheerful and bright void deck....gitu eh... not forgetting one of them are cute...to my taste la..

I never notice this until Azhar told me that some of the family members or cousins or nieces recognises me from my Friendster profile and pointed and whispering my profile nick "MonarC" when I walk to the seat....oh my.... macam artist siak...hehe....

And at one moment, while waiting for the couple to change outfits for their return trip back to Aishah's which are longer than we anticipated at his place, one of his niece drops by and before she leaves, she stop in front of me and said, "You're MonarC, right?" and walk away smiling...

Rizal was laughing and Zaid was in the Scooby-Doo-Moment and I was in the Okay-What-Just-Happen-Moment... I mean, I'm flattered but feeling a little weird....

Moments later the Bride appear first from their changing room and Suhirman later. Aishah's a big girl and tall...I guessed I'm just short la...and she's fair. This is what I think, The Mak Andam or Make-Up Artist as what they preferred to be called now, did a not so good job.

First and foremost, she took a hell of her own sweet time to change outfits let alone retouching the make-up. And second of all, her make-up sucks! She did Aishah's so white that she looked like a tonne of flour that were throw at her, on her face... And that horrendous lipstick..!!! I know, I know...I shouldn't say anything about the make-up but...it's like she's been punk, man...

And oh....That performance with the dancing girls are a waste of time...seriously...It's feels like Malam Perjumpaan Raya or something...You know...

To think one of her friends find that colour nice, literally makes my eyes popped out... I think my expression shows a little la....

VOID-DECK-DINNER-RECEPTION

Invited for Aishah's (did I get the spelling correct?) dinner reception and boy was the venue far...Anyhoo...definately fashionably late as always....miscalculation of time as I would preferred to put the blame on... Hurriedly and begrudgingly and hesitantly I flagged a cab so that I would not be so late...and thanks to me, I've made that cabbie $30 bucks richer... And oh..!..May I suggest to the Cabbie Associations to include an extra mile of service by providing a complimentary drink....you know...since they are hiking up the taxi fare by 35% might as well provide something for the passengers so that they would shut up....passengers like me particularly cause by the time I reached Simei, I was pretty....erm.... parched?....thirsty...hee..

Anyhoo, met Rizal and we bought our self bottles to drink....halal one hor... and we wait....and we wait....and.....we....waited.... and catching up with the missing times..gitu....plus the gossip la...of course...

Zaid arrives and 30mins later..I think...Mother Bear arrives and off we go to the Void-Deck-Dinner-Reception.

I must say that the whole decorations are over the top, you see as funny as this may sound, this is my first Void-Deck-Dinner-Reception that I've ever attended to in many many years...The last one was in the 90's. That long but of course there's dinner receptions at HOTEL...but other than that it's been awhile. I don't mean to be mean or be a critique but if you're gonna have a grand function might as well do it in a hotel ball room... It's better that way than just a void deck thingy and as far as I'm concern those decorations and all costs a bomb, doesn't come cheap...you know...Only like 65% seats occupied....oh well it's all boils down to own preferences...

Oh yeah.... I have to include this cause I simply couldn't get this incident out of mind freakin mind.... the buffet spread was unbelievably incredible and hands down to the bride's mom who cook most of the dishes.

The spread include dishes that I have never encounter at any weddings I have attended to... and surprisingly in one corner sits Chocolate Fondue....hmmm...who would have thunk to include a Chocolate Fondue on the buffet table.... But of course by the time we asked Mother Bear to take some Chocolate Fondue - by the way whose having a Scooby-Doo-Moment when we mention Chocolate Fondue - has miraculously disappear.... I guess most of the guest never had any Fondue in the lives...Or....they really love Chocolates......buuuttt....I prefer the former...hee

Let's start with a bad topic shall we..??

The cab fare's increases again.... and boy does it took me by surprise... Yeah people...I'm shocked...cause the day I took a cab to IRAS to send cake order was the very first day the price hike started...sucks huh...?? I know..
Usually the cab fare from my place to IRAS plus the morning and the bloody gantry charges was $15 tops....but noooowww....It's reaches to $20 bloody dollars... How shocking...I know... Almost choke to death the moment that taxi driver call out the cab fare. Not satisfied I asked him to print out the receipt and call the Customer Service....Oh yeah...I thought that uncle had somehow tampered or do something with the pricing machine...gitu eh.... Very the drama in the morning...

Anyhoo....called the cab company and they told me that the hike starts that day and it's morning charges changed from $2 to 35% of your total fare....

And that Customer Service Officer even said," I know, It's expensive now...."

And I was left huffing in anger and out of breath cause I was on my way to the train and that damn escalator broke down...thank you very much... As you already know...I don't do stairs...haha...

So, that's are your New Year gift from the Cab Associations....

A beautiful view unfortunately it was pouring rain rain and cloudy that day....but lucky for me, I manage to get pictures of a Rainbow...can you see it..?? Nice huh..??

Merry Christmas to all....

As I don't celebrate Christmas I received an unexpected gifts that morning.

Yesterday was Linda's Birthday and thanks to Yani and Amelia for giving me the DVD that I've always wanted....hee...gitu eh.. They really caught me by surprised on Christmas morning with that DVD, actually on my way to my shop that morning , I was thinking about buying the DVD when I finished my shift later....

These are the 2 gifts that I gave to Linda for her Birthday cum Christmas Present- A pair of customed-made Sun rock earrings and Amelia - A Charm Bracelet with her lettering..

Ahhh..!! Cannot supressed my excitement I scream when they announced the winner...sexy kan..laki aku menang..!!!

To all the detractors who says that Hady should not be the chosen one to represent Singapore have to eat back their words..ha.!!

Wow...time really flies that quick when you're occupied with things and work.

My first post for the month of December and it's already on it 11th days.

I'm sorry for not keeping in contact cause my time are really tight..like a virgin gitu..hee

Anyhoo...loads of things happened and first and foremost is that my store got it's new Global Store System aka Cash Register la... all computerized and shit and it's built with internal store email address. Unfortunately my boss took the store laptop and send it to HongKong for whatever and will return it back in 2 weeks time...that's why i never had the chance to update my blog...hee

Well, Christmas is coming near and counting down to 15 more days.??

But first i'm all excited with weddings and unfortunately..again.. I couldn't attend to Adeline's sister wedding... : (

And oh...Suhirman drop by the other day to pass his wedding invitations to me personally and though he gain some pounds, it's good to see him again... We chatted and reminiscence the old days..as if we're that old... dun start bitching people.....I know what's in your mind...hee...

A little bum though..not because of work but never had the chance to check out "M" by Mariah Carey and that DVD of hers.... sigh...

Godiva Christmas gift box chocolates recalled

SINGAPORE:

Godiva Chocolatier has voluntarily recalled one of its Christmas chocolate gift boxes, after reports in Japan said a small strand of metal had been found in the chocolates.

Singapore's Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) has directed importers to recall the 16-piece Christmas Carre Gift box containing chocolate squares. These gift boxes are only available in Godiva-owned retail stores in Singapore.

About 40 boxes of the chocolates have been sold so far. The AVA advises consumers who have bought the implicated product not to consume it. They should either discard the product or return it to any Godiva store.

AVA says it will monitor the situation to ensure that the affected products are not available for sale in the market here.

Ah Heng come and repair my Bulkcase that have been spoilt for more than a week....
Thank god..!!

The compressor just give up and died suddenly, Ah Heng was in Taipei holidaying and have to wait for his return to repair or change the compressor.

When he told Grace that the bulkcase need to repair and that there's an extra cost of $800, she said she'll think about it..

I was of course angry la by that sentence... I'll think about it..?? What does she mean by that..??
I have been suffering by taking my boxes of chocolates in and out of the bloody bulkcase and in my fridge for the past week and she wants me to suffer some more...??!!

You see....I'm a time bomb and I always take the right time to voice out my problems. Well, the right time was when 2 of my bosses from HongKong, John and Chris arrive to have a meeting with the landlords. That's where I pop the questions...

Me : (Voice Projection so that J & C could hear) So...Grace, Did Ah Heng tell you about MY bulkcase..??
G : (Gave me that I'm-gonna-kill-you look) Yeah...He did... We'll get it fixed.
Me : Really...?? That's great..!! ( Plastic kan...I know ) WHEN ??
G : As soon as possible....

This is how I start my Monday after 2 days of rest...

All excited for Mariah Carey DVD out today...as you already know... I went to HMV, frantically looking for it but no where to be found. So, I when up to the counter asking about the DVD and to my disappointment the DVD is delayed till end of this month.

Off I went straight to my store to do my morning Bank-in. Upon reaching, I open my cabinet to take out the deposit cash from the Safe and to my surprise, the knob just fell out of the socket..!! Pranjat kan... in the early morning I get this kind of surprise.. Of course I couldn't open up the damn safe even with the spare master key.

I called Sikin who has been working over the weekend to ask what happened and why wasn't I informed. I was fuming mad after our conversation.....

Apparently a new part-timer from Vivo named WeiXiang supposed to cover the evening shift for 2 days cause Sikin are doing the morning shift. Since he's new and not sure of the whole procedure, he change his shift with another Vivo staff name Charlotte and this was approved by their Assistant Store Manager Serena. He did this because he scared and unsure of looking after MS, making C work on Sat and would find out the work procedure from C. To my opinion, he doesn't want to do research about the shop he gonna cover before hand...siak kan.. Lazy ass bumb..!!

Apa lagi..Mak melinting la...I made a big hoohaa about the whole thing because of his stupid mistake, I have to walk to and fro to Carrefour to ask for assistant and oh...to make matter worse, Carrefour have the poor service ever known to mankind !!... You know how I hate feeling all hot and sticky..before start opening shop some more.. but of course another reason was that Mariah DVD delayed...gitu eh... In the end I opened my store at 1330... trash kan..!

I called WX and ask him why didn't he call me to inform about the situation then just leave a note on the Safe. He said Sikin told him to... Apa lagi Mak tanya Sikin and she mentioned to him to call me plus leave a note. He knew I was angry and I think he informed his ASM S about the situation.

ASM S called me, this is our conversation excerpt :-

ASM S : Hello Sayang, I want to apologise to you.
Me : Huh..?? About what..??
ASM S : About WX and his mistake...
Me : Ha..! I'm about to call you regarding that. Why wasn't I informed about the switch shift ???
ASM S : Oh..that one I approved the changes cause WX said he wasn't sure how to cover the evening shift at your side and thus ask C to cover and find out from her later for her opinion on how the shift is...
Me : Oh really....? He doesn't know there's a word called Research is it..? If you don't know about certain things you should find out yourself than making a genuine pig out of someone.??
I know he's new and unfamiliar about the work procedures but he can come to me in advance to learn right? I'm gladly to teach him. Before my day off, why don't he drop by and check MS out ?? It's not that I'm gonna chase him off...
ASM S : Oh..... I'm so sorry...

What..??!!!! That's all she can say...I'm so sorry..???!! Oh..no...she didn't...

Me : And why wasn't I informed about the changes..??
ASM S : Silence.......
Me : You know what.....? I got customer, talked to you later.... CLICK!

I've just checked with HMV, they're launching Mariah Carey: Adventures of Mimi Tour on 26th Nov that is tomorrow..!!!!

Deep breath....huuu.... I'm okay..
Gonna buy it first thing tomorrow...hahaha..

And oh.... Her perfume "M" by Mariah Carey will premiere at SaSa Perfumeries on the 1st of Dec... I'm definately checking that out , heard that it received great reviews...

Peak period soon and we're in need of new staffs. Yani got hers, very young boy.... Xian Feng...
I called him XF...haha....malas siak nak call full name...

Anyhoo... He's a friend of Alvin's who just quit and return back on Susan's request...For your info, it is tiring to teach a new staff the procedure since most of our hands are full...gitu eh..

He's scared of me at first...I don't know but maybe my presence intimidates him a little... haha
Actually it really frustrate me cause people always judge me before getting to know me... I'm sure Alvin told him about me and that really a turn off... I mean you've got to know a person yourself than just listen from others...right..??

In the end, after a few minutes of breaking the ice with my so ever fantabulous personality...haha... He starts to opens up and understands me as a person and in his words...gitu eh... He found me to be a nice and funny person.... ha..!

I have yet to take pictures of Ben and Han who by the way is much cuter than Ben...gitu eh...

But still young la.... Cannot girl...masuk jail siak.... hahaha....

I was getting ready setting up the shop and after 3 days straight of doing full shift...you know la hor.... tired and blur plus brain malfunction in the morning...

Customer : Excuse me......Miss...

Customer : Where's Loo..?

Me : Loo who..???!! I don't know any Loo...

Customer : I mean, Where's Loo..??

Me : Madam, there's no one by the name of Loo working here. I think you got the wrong place.

Customer :( Laughing her ass out).... Oh...sorry, where's the toilet??

Me : (Relief ) Ohhh....Say la Restroom.... It's beside Giordano...

Tomorrow I'll be doing a receiving stock from HongKong for Christmas Launch on the 15th and might have to stay a bit longer for setting up the Promotions for my store. Plus launching the new Biscuit, Cocoa and Coffee range which I have stalled due to POS system updating problems.

A new cash register will be install for my store and hopefully it will reduce or solve any accounts problems that my Accountants in HongKong couldn't rectify.

On the 17th, I have to be at Great World City to help set up a new Kiosk there and that will take the whole day...

18th - Sentosa.....sentosa....Sentosa.......

We meet, catching up with the latest news as usual and explaining as to why I couldn't attend Adeline's Sis wedding next month... But upon hearing their plan to wear all white pretty much get me all excited...

Anyhoo....we went to Orchard and had some Old Chang Khee before settling down at NYDC for a drink.
